VISCOSE TOP DYED FIBER

WHAT IS VISCOSE TOP DYED FIBER:

Viscose top dyed fiber is man made. In fact, it is regenerated cellulose fibers that used to be called artificial silk. Therefore, it is made from natural plants such as wood pulp, bamboo, soy, eucalyptus, and sugar cane.  It actually looks like natural silk. Almost natural, viscose is considered as a semi-synthetic fiber originating from the pulp of different sources of grasses and fibers.

USES:

However, It is very affordable compared to silk. The soft fiber and has a large and versatile use and  ideal for wet felting, spinning, paper making and other forms of fiber art. Thus it lends itself for excellent blending with wool fibers during the felting process and adds unmistakable shiny and silky characteristics to the fabric. In fact, garments made of viscose is very soft, comfortable, absorbs moisture and most of all easy to dye.  Besides, this product is considered eco-friendly because they recycle the solvent and fabric to make it!
